Manish Khanna, MD - Chief Medical Officer

Dr. Khanna grew up in Rockville, Maryland and graduated from the University of Maryland Baltimore County with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry. During post-graduate research at NIH, he performed cutting edge research and produced publications.

Dr. Khanna then attended Albany Medical College, where he earned his medical degree, and was then accepted to the Otolaryngology residency program at Albany Medical Center, where he completed his surgical internship, residency and chief residency.

Following residency, Dr. Khanna was accepted for a fellowship in Rhinology – Advanced Endoscopic Sinus Surgery at the California Sinus Institute in Palo Alto, CA, under Drs. Winston Vaughan and Karen Fong. While training at the Institute, he learned both the medical and surgical management of challenging sinonasal disorders. Some of the nearly 300 sinonasal procedures that he learned and performed included revision endoscopic sinus surgery, balloon sinuplasty, medial orbital wall decompression, CSF leak repair, sinonasal polyp surgery, sinonasal tumor removal, and frontal sinus surgery.

Dr. Khanna also has extensive experience performing nearly all sinonasal procedures under local anesthesia in a comfortable office setting. He enjoys performing these procedures, and his patients prefer them over the standard operating room procedures. The patients are happy that they are able to return to work much more quickly, take less pain medication and save money.  Dr. Khanna takes great pride in offering the highest quality care to his patients and their families.

In the summer of 2018, Dr. Khanna co-founded National Breathe Free Sinus & Allergy Centers with the vision in mind to spread the very best minimally invasive sinus & allergy care to patients.

In the near future, he plans to be directly involved in the opening of other Breathe Free clinics across the country, and will be assisting all attending physicians in delivering the best care to their Ear, Nose & Throat patients.

Dr. Khanna currently resides in Northern Virginia with his wife Alysha and his two sons, Evan and Neil.
